Stop there and let me correct it

Back home from our trip to Charleston to see my family, yay! We had a great time, and Olivia LOVED playing with and running around after her cousins. It was so cute to see them all together. Both of my parents and one of my sisters were sick, so the long weekend wasn't as fun for everyone as it could have been, but I'm glad we got out of town and were able to spend time with my family.

I don't really do resolutions for the New Year ever, but there are a few things I've been thinking that I might do for myself this year. I'm still sort of mulling it over, and I might post a list here at some point. I definitely want to teach myself to knit and start doing yoga and try to cook at least one new recipe a week.

Next week Leo starts his last semester at school, and I'm trying to mentally prepare for him being gone all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the next four months. I'm not terribly thrilled at the thought of being stuck home with a toddler from first thing in the morning until late at night two days in a row, but I keep telling myself that he's almost done and that he hates it more than I do. On the plus side, Leo's new schedule means that I'll need to reevaluate my own schedule, which should make for a nice change.

As a heads up, I think I'm going to be doing a little LJ housekeeping in the next little while. I feel like a new layout and a pruning of the flist and getting involved more and commenting more in communities and friends' journals is in order.

Hope y'all had a great holiday season and are starting out the New Year healthy and happy.
