My alarm clock went off at 7:00 a.m. It was Saturday, WAY too early to be waking up but Rachel’s game was at 8 and I was showing my support : ) So I sleep in until 7:30 because I had gone to bed at 2:30 that morning, took a shower till about 7:45, thought of a new word while in the shower, Stoic, pretty good word, then I grabbed my stuff and proceeded to drive to the Bridgewater bubble. On my way down 106, just after Lawndale, I made the stupid decision to wash my windshield. The water smudged then froze and the sun glared through and I couldn’t see a damn thing, I had to drive blind for about 30 seconds, it was scary because there were other cars coming and I had no idea where I was. (Friendly driving tip #1: Don’t wash your windshields when it’s freezing out) So I’m going down 106, thinking about stuff, I’m following this Explorer I think and we come up to the 138-106 intersections and the guy brakes because it’s a red light, since I was daydreaming or just spaced out, I didn’t see him until like 8 feet away so I had to slam on the brakes and try to cut the car, *SSSCCCRRREEECCCHHH* (Friendly driving tip #2: Pay attention while driving) The rest of the trip was uneventful so I get into the bubble and walk left as I go in because last time, I walked left and went up a set of stairs but I guess I took the left too soon and ended up in a small kids field and I was like… this isn’t where I’m supposed to be so I pretended to check my watch like I knew what I was doing and walked to the fields and up those stairs. I was about 11 minutes late to the game and the score was 1 to 1. Overall, Mashpee out passed Mansfield and that was why they won 8-3 but there were some outstanding performances by star players like Rachel Gibbons who played 3 different positions and capitalized on every situation. After her game, I proceeded home, drive home was uneventful, when I got home, I had to clean my room, and clean the upstairs bathroom, and wash a load of laundry, the downstairs bathroom still needs to be cleaned and I still need to hang the laundry : ( I left my house around 10:50 and went to Bonnie’s house and get VB installed, then went to Rachel’s house and we went to Friendly’s. Since I had taken so long, we missed breakfast by about 30 minutes (sorry) and we ordered grilled cheese (Rachel) and I had pot roast or something like that, should’ve gotten the fried steak but next time, got my desert, didn’t really want it cuz I was kinda full. Then we went to Brooks and dropped off Rachel’s disposable camera with pictures from our sleepover and then off to the library, I got my tax forms then we went back to Rachel’s house to get her car. We then went to Stop and Shop to drop off Chrissy’s CD and on the way back, I came up with this scary idea of going to the insane asylum at night and walking around the hallways *note that* We had 15 minutes to waste so we played the lost game and drove all around Mansfield, then towards Foxboro, went by World’s Gym and saw ducks and Rachel wanted me to get out and lick the freezing cold rail guard. We went back to Brooks and had the lady page Erin and she came out of the break room and laughed at the pictures with us, the pictures are pretty funny, I’ll get some posted if I’m in the mood. After Brooks, we went back to Rachel’s house and hung out there for a while, played Egyptian rat screw, and lay on her bed for a while. We went back to my house so I could change for my game, and my dad insisted on taking the same car so he drove us there. We played Pawtucket, the #1 team in the league who we lost to 10-1 in our first game. I went in at 21, and came out at 10 and put in a very good 11 minutes. Ran my heart out. I also got to score on a penalty kick and that was the first time Rachel saw me score : ) There was this really tall kid who wanted to fight, he was always shoving me and saying like, “you got no shot” etc and he ripped my shirt, he grabbed my from behind and pulled, asshole. We lost 6-3 and that was the end of our season and I still hurt from that game, my leg hurts every time there’s pressure on it.
We went back to my house and I took a shower while Rachel did something with someone’s S/N and that was fun, we left around 8:30 for the insane asylum because Rachel wanted to go *note, RACHEL wanted to go* So we drive in my car to the insane asylum, do two drive bys and I see this back road that runs by the REALLY SCARY building and was like, I am NOT driving down there so I get out onto 140 to go home but Rachel really wanted to go so I pulled into Dairy Queen and we switched drivers. She went down the road and kinda drove around that little area. We had our headlights shutoff so we could go unnoticed, there was a guy in this shack thing about a quarter of a mile away so we tried to stay undetected. We drove by this church building and realized that it would go by the guy so we started backing up. I wanted to go so we switched drivers again, previously, I had gotten out of the car to switch seats but I didn’t want to this time. Just as I finished adjusting my seat, from that street by the church building comes a trunk with just its running lights on, two sets of these EVIL looking orange lights. MY GOD it was freaky, I was like, SHIT!!! So I quickly turned on my headlights and got out of there, as I was leaving, I made the decision to take a right because if I had taken a left, he could’ve followed me really closely and taking a right leads down a really long straight road. I didn’t want to arouse suspicion so I turned on my blinker like everything was normal but when he turned right also, I came to the conclusion that he was gonna follow us so I booked it. I speeded down the road for about a mile or a bit less and took a right, now this right was a 135° turn and I had to break and take the turn and accelerate, the guy in the truck was about an eighth of a mile behind me and I saw him take the right also. I blazed down this road not knowing where it went but it led back to 140 luckily and I blew through two stop signs, and back onto 140. I looked back and the guy was following but by this time, I had about three quarters of a mile lead on him and it was just cruising from then on. The scary thing is, we were in a mental institution, with buildings like look like they were haunted and RANDOMLY this guy in a pickup shows up really suspiciously. AAAHHHH! So we’re driving back and Rachel is like, Don’t go back to our houses!!! He’ll know where we live! I don’t think she’s very good under pressure. We went back to her house and laid on her bed and thought of everything that could have happened, they were scary. For example, if you’ve ever seen the old Scrooge, the ghost with the chains, what if someone had suddenly turned and looked out one of the windows, and they glowed white, and had no pupils!!! AAAHHH!! I couldn’t bear to look out the windows for the rest of the night. Or, what if the road I had taken turned out to be a dead end? THAT would’ve sucked, or the guy in the truck had taken a shortcut and cut us off, or if he had followed us home and was waiting for me outside, or if he took a ladder and tapped the window and when we turned and looked, there he was. OR what if there wasn’t a guy driving the truck at all! And Rachel had this bear, with really scary eyes, AH! Okay I was REALLY REALLY freaked out the whole night. Anyway, we decided to cook breakfast so we went downstairs and Rachel made bacon and melted cheddar cheese and I heated up some stuffed mushrooms and made some home fries, I have to work on this because they weren’t crispy enough. After we ate, we went back to Rachel’s room and laid there for a while and play a game of Ghost but since I didn’t like the word ghost, I asked Rachel to pick a different five letter word so we played Penis… I think I lost but I don’t remember, we were like, we should do something or else we’ll fall asleep, and we ended up falling asleep and woke up at 2:30. We were kinda dumbfounded by the time but we just decided to continue sleeping and I woke up at 3, 4, 5, 6 then 7:45. By then, I decided it was time to go before everyone woke up so we slowly tiptoed downstairs and Rachel heard someone in the upstairs bathroom so I hugged her and quickly left. It happens that Rachel’s mom saw my car at 7 in the morning and went to check on Rachel so she knew I was there but I don’t think she’s mad at me, oh, I had a nightmare that she was and that she banned me from seeing Rachel, : ( That was a bad dream. And that was my night, I look forward to doing homework the rest of the day, wonderful ^_^ and now this has become the longest journal entry ever and it has taken me one hour and six minutes, wow (1,748 words if you were wondering)
