Wikipedia Loves Liars

Yesterday laughsquidfeen posted a glowing review of Beard Papa's. I contacted him to let him know what any reader of this journal already knows; Beard Papa is a liar. He suggested that I document Beard Papa's controversial and discredited advertising claim to Wikipedia, and I did, attempting as best I could to maintain a neutral point of view:

Beard Papa's franchises in 2003 [[Tokyo]] advertised "Pipin' Hot Cream Puffs". Beard Papa's cream puffs are not served "piping hot", they are chilled to prevent the cream filling from liquefying.

One hour later DAJF removed the second half of my statement, claiming that it is an "uncited statement". Uncited my ass. Beard Papa's Cream Puffs are served ice fucking cold. This can be proven with THERMOMETERS and SCIENCE.

I'm not taking this one lying down. I've written a letter to the Beard Papa central office to see whether their franchise agreement mandates a temperature at which their dairy products should be stored or served. I might even be able to social engineer my way into getting a photocopy of the manual from our local franchise.

Update: I wrote a message to Muginoho USA requesting the franchise's food safety and handling guidelines. When I pushed "Submit" the Contact Us form did not send the message, it reported "Email failed!!"

Beard Papa's contact form does not allow contact with Beard Papa. Beard Papa is a liar.
