Japanese Bathroom Sex
I had tea with my Japanese friend 'nafnaf' at a cafe in the Castro this evening. We ended up talking about recent political scandals.
"Did you hear about Senator Craig?"
"No, what did he do?"
"Well he was in an airport bathroom and tried to have sex with a man who turned out to be an undercover police officer."
"And then what?"
"What do you mean 'and then what'? He was going to have sex in a public bathroom."
"Is that illegal?"
"Yeah, it's called 'lewd conduct'."
"Rude conduct? It is rude?"
"No, L-E-W-D. Kinda like rude, but different."
"This is illegal in the US?"
"Sure it is. Isn't it illegal to have sex in a public bathroom in Japan?"
"Of course not. You can have sex everywhere. In bathrooms, in parks, on the roof of your house. All legal."
"Wow. Best country ever."
