So the Iraq Study Group's report came out today.
They're looking at declining objective measures of progress, suggesting a timetable to achieve favorable results, "not making an open-ended commitment to keep large numbers of American troops deployed in Iraq", firing incompetent morons like Rumsfeld, and recognizing the necessity of withdrawal if the tactics don't achieve success.
Huh. Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah.
From me, one year ago. They also suggested asking our two worst enemies - Iran and Syria - for help. I didn't think to suggest this because I didn't want to appear naive or insane. Doing some work on the Palestinean problem is a pretty good idea that I failed to mention.
