Movie trailers

I find it amusing that some people who complain about movie trailers that reveal the entire plot of a movie, while others assume that a character or plot point does not figure prominently in the movie because the trailer doesn't spend a lot of time addressing those points.

There is no particular reason why I'm thinking about this today.
