Ah yes, the fun of folks who consider GitMo a Comedic Moment, because, well of course everyone finds that illegal detention and extradition from one's homelands to be a part of the process.....
what was that about 'qualified, nontrivializing comparisons'....
Americans have, in the main embraced and accepted that the Great Leader can do no wrong! They get up one morning and it is CRIMINAL AND ILLEGAL AND TREASONOUS to suggest that there are secret illegal detention facilities that engage in torture. The next day Great Leader opens the doors to moving the detainees from the secret illegal detention facilities to the publically known KZ's - and of course EVERYONE supports the Great Wisdom of Great Leader!!!!
Try also to remember, while we are here, that Niehmoler, who was one of the most famous detainees in Dachau did not know that there were some 200,000+ "deaths" that occurred there while he was Hitler's Personal Prisoner There. So should americans whine any more???? Can They??? They Like KZ's!!! They Triumph In Them!!! They Call For Them!!!! And as the barbwire goes up around the USofA - one is reminded of the worlds of the American Commander in the Territory of Hawai'i when they ordered him to detain the Japanese-Americans, "we have already strung the beaches with barbwire...."
Who knows, it may not be long until it becomes a popular part of american culture to assert that they did not know about GitMo, or any of the other Detention Centers.... How were they suppose to Know, the Liberal Media was covering everything up and ....
