A few weeks ago I was driving home along Washington, looking for somewhere to eat, and I noticed a neon sign that I hadn't noticed before.
Bharat Bazaar Samosa House Inside was a very clean, well-stocked grocery store with a kitchen in the corner. I asked the guy behind the counter "have you guys ever been to Berkeley?"
"You're going to tell us about
Vik, aren't you."
"Wow, I'm impressed that you've heard about Vik."
"Of course we have. They are good friends of ours. We will make you forget about Vik."
"That's a big claim. You know that Vik is pretty good."
"Yes we do. We are better. We will make you forget about Vik."
I haven't forgotten about Vik quite yet, but Bharat Samosa House is absolutely first rate. They've got a table of regular Indian food, but they've also got Chaat if you know what to ask for.
