It's been a busy year. Finished the Italian and now I'm going to be researching another. In 2013 I'll be helping with an event called the Perfectly Period Feast. 2 have been done so far so this will be #3.
1580 in Italy. I'll be a servant, so nothing fancy, but I'll help with the research and will help anyone who will be Nobel and needs fancy dress.
We will be painting period pottery in the style of the day. Probably making serving spoons as well.
I've got a big project that I've started, embroidery of a War Cloak. Given by the King of the West to a warrior who has distinguished himself in battle. That is due July 2012 and it's a lot of embroidery and tablet weaving as well. The sewing part is easy.
