[Misao blinked sleepily, snugging into Ren's comforting warmth. It was nice to be with her boyfriend like this, and the thought of him stroking her back like he did last night was bliss . . .]

[But she realized that she wasn't small and furry anymore, and she blinked eyes open blearily, staring at Ren's face, still carrying the vestiges of sleep.]

[Her mouth formed a round "o".]

[Ren was still shrugging off sleep, not focused at the moment at all, just knowing something was on top of him that wouldn't shift.]

[Misao would have to do more to get him up that just stare, that's for sure.]

REN!

[Misao jumped away from his torso, blushing bright red as she rolled over to the side. She was used to cuddling with him, but her face was almost at his waist, and it just seemed so . . . close . . .]

[Well that did it, Ren nearly hit his head on the armrest as he bolted upright, still looking dazed.]

What the hell...

[But then he saw the girl nearly lying on top of him, and his expression soon changed to one of great embarrassment and panic.]

M-Misao?!

[itachi_kunoichi]

WE WEREN'T--WE'RE INNOCENT!

[Misao shrieked in response, a bright shade of crimson as she stared at his disheveled form.]

ARGH!

[But then, knowing Misao, she just needed to freak out before calming down, and soon she was puffing, finally restored to her senses.]

Of course I know that, I'd think I'd remember if we-...

[Yeah, he's not saying it but it was pretty obvious. He just grunted and looked away, face still red before getting up and walking off. Strangely though it wasn't because he was angry, he just remember something...]

AND I WOULD REMEMBER IF WE--

[And she blushed an even brighter red, hiding her face in her hands but staring at him over the tops of her fingers.]

[Ren was still flushed at the thought on his return, still looking awkward, but deciding to look at the girl at least. Well, maybe this would be the right distraction.]

Not ideal timing, but...

[And from his back he produced a pretty pink bouquet.]

Happy two month Anniversary.

[She was still blushing, but when he presented her the flowers, she blushed even brighter, though a smile quickly spread across her face.]

Oh--that's soooo pretty!

[She was distracted, alright--she leapt to him, hugging him enthusiastically.]

HAPPY TWO MONTHS!

[While he was nearly bowled over by the hug, Ren was glad she was happy again, so he decided he could deal with the enthusiasm, petting her back in the embrace.

[She hugged him happily before suddenly jumping off with a gasp.]

Are your wounds okay now?

[He blinked, suddenly remembering himself,and moved a hand to check. Nothing hurt, it was just old worn scars back once more.]

They've closed again, it's fine.

Good!

[She hugged him tightly once more, taking the flowers and breathing in their scent happily.]

Thanks, Reeeeeeen!

[She leaned over to give him a happy kiss.]

[Rolling his eyes at her giddiness, he would have retorted of not for the sudden kiss, to which he did respond to. He pressed close, tilting her head back and pouring in all feeling he could before they separated for air.]

So do we have plans for today or what?

[She enjoyed Ren's passionate kisses, and she quickly lost herself in that one, allowing him to kiss her senseless before they finally parted.]

[She blinked up at him lazily, grinning like the cat that ate the canary.]

[He rolled his eyes, softly nuzzling a moment before smirking lightly at her.]
