haha, sorry, I forget how weird this is without context (this explains the teapot - teakettle, actually - and the characters are loosely based off Sengoku era warlords of ancient Japan)
and yes, two or three more uncles to go! (not including Hiragumo's real uncle)
What is that? / Is that my cow? That goes "Sausages! Lovely almost not quite fresh sausages!" That is Cut Me Own Throat Dibbler! / That is not my cow!
I have also been reading a few kids' books recently (Japanese practice and I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen i.e. best book I read last month), was very charmed by the repetition and yet also the variation within the repetition. If you play with it it builds such a perfect rhythm xD
Ahaha!! That's the one! I was wondering if i was growing senile or something? :-)
I read once that children are comforted by repetition and same-ness and become more open to new words/concepts when introduced in a familiar setting. Also a lot of them grow up to like spoilers for the same reason, comfort and can better enjoy the story without the element of surprise. (i was totally looking to justify my love of spoilers lol)
I am good!! Yen intro'ed the very deadly overdrive app that lets you borrow ebooks and audiobooks from our local library.... Deadly!!! :-)
