1st Morning IMC result - Vefurrin won one of two consolation prizes (at the bottom lol). prolly need to learn to draw in ink cause the wash looks ok online but so bad when printed. but I didn't expect to even place so this is a nice surprise xD; I hope it doesn't get confused in translation.
I like that the judges took the time to list both pros and cons of each story; I agree my writing's always kind of flawed in being inherently afraid of exposing too much, and that fear ends up in the story saying too little and the original intent getting lost along the way. but between saying too much and saying too little, I always feel I'd like to say too little. I dunno, I like having a little space when I read stories, so I guess this is kind of writing what I want to read. in terms of more accessible themes uhhh iunno xD; for December + next Brown app I am going to do something about a man with a wing where an arm should be. I think the inherent problem is that I am way too pretentious huh. but first in light of this long weekend RIKKAI EXCHANGE FIC + HERO UPDATE WILL BE FINISHED I swear ><
o ya and in celebration of my birthday today, those of you in my country may enjoy fireworks all week and a public holiday tomorrow! weeee i'm old.
