Happy birthday America
When people ask me what China is like, my first response is that China is smoggy. Today was especially bad. It was so bad that from the dining hall to the library, a distance of perhaps only 100 feet, one could see the smog. It was so bad that, after someone opened the dormitory's hallway windows, I could not clearly see from one end of the hallway to the other. This is how bad it is.
Our teachers told us that if we start coughing up black stuff, don't be afraid. You're not sick; it's just the pollution from the air.
