He had every intention of going to Wes and Aidan's wedding. All he had to do was get on the plane and go...and then work called him. Seems his understudy came down with a freak case of laryngitis and no one else was cut out for the task. So he had to cancel his plans, promising himself he'd do something special for his fellow pilot as soon as the honeymoon was over.
Honeymoon...kriff. He had his own wedding to plan.
He had a few ideas for the ceremony that he wanted to run by Alisha, even though he knew that she, like all girls, had probably planned the whole thing by the time she was twelve.
Oh well, he was trying. We have to give him credit for that.
This would be why he's waiting for Alisha in Starbucks, monopolizing the comfy couch, laptop on the coffee table next to a latte and a plate with a half-eaten scone. There's even a nice, hot beverage for Alisha. Isn't he thoughtful?
