The Primus Day of Fall.

I took my bike out for the first time in a month or so, and it was REALLY fun, but it's kind of alarming how much stamina you can lose in such a short time. Hopefully I'll be out and about more from October through November. Not too hot, not too cold, and really, really pretty. Even in the city. What I'd really like to do, though, is drive out to the mountains and ride and walk around on some trails. I might have to settle for biking the Riverside Trail from the PNC Park to the Southside Works and circle back down Carson Street so I can hit City Books and PIttsburgh Guitars. I need to take the camera with me and take a bunch of weird pictures like I used to do with my collapsible Dahon. I've been doing a lot of kicking it around downtown over the past few days. Hopefully I can keep that up as well. I used to walk for about an hour or so every day, but now it's down to a good walk every couple of weeks.

On a whim I bought an Autumn Pumpkin Pasta Sauce that Rach and I are going to test out tonight. I don't think it will be very good, but I'm a sucker for anything fall-themed. To the point where even if it's terrible, I'll probably keep getting it until the Winter Peppermint Pasta Sauce comes out.

Tonight is the Primus concert, and thanks to Rachel, I will be there. I am going to take a copy of Les Claypool's novel "South of the Pumphouse" to try to get it signed (if I see him, which I probably won't). http://www.amazon.com/South-Pumphouse-Claypool/dp/1933354062

Back to work tomorrow. I enjoyed my days off, but I didn't do the chores/cleaning that should have been taken care of.

Walking - Biking - Dinner - Concert. Not too shabby.

Thank you for your time and patience.

Dobler.
