The idiot that I am didn't realise it'd be a good move to create a backup of my sims and downloads when the computer suddenly started working after first failing to boot. It died again, and this time I think it's permanent. I'm taking it to the store and hoping they can salvage my files. Fortunately I have all of the really important stuff on an external hard drive, but the loss of my sims and the situation in general is just making me really distraught. It's funny how the breaking down of a computer is such a material thing yet it causes so much stress I want to cry. It's only a few months old, and I have absolutely no idea what I did to upset it. Just yesterday it worked perfectly fine. The warranty is still very much on, but I'm afraid that they'll declare it's something I did...
The last sims I made in Bodyshop were Minea and Mette, and I managed to get a couple of pictures of them. Unfortunately they themselves are stuck on the dead computer. Under the cut are some pictures of them to celebrate their untimely passing.
