random things i want to tell someone but somehow feel like they are too stupid and too little to engage someone in a conversation about and also, isn't this why live journal exists?
1) i think i like to make things in ms paint because it is kind of like a puzzle. i usually hate puzzles but this, this is fun. First i construct a whole sketch, then remove pieces from it, then fill in what i took away with something that looks more "finished" then i once again remove scraggly bits from around the parts of the drawing i like best. it seems like i reconstruct and redraw things so many times. the final piece is something that is made up of a bunch of little bits that were introduced during different stages of producing the image. so it's like old bits and new bits and things i couldn't get quite right. i mean, that's another thing, it's kind of hard to have finesse when working with ms paint, everything is a little jagged. ok. this probably does not make sense but i'm just sayin' shit takes so long but i like to get lost in the process.
2) "vis-à-vis." i hate it. i find it kind of pretentious and a little ambiguous. mostly useless.
