Live-blogging from The Intrepid.   Had to work with Tours Limited today which was an ordeal.  They hadn’t let me know what was happening.  They finally called me after 9 AM to ask where to meet.  We agreed to meet at Battery Park at 10 AM.  I waited in the rain for an hour and the bus showed up around 11 AM.  This time the patrons wanted to go shopping, which was fine, but not in the same place.  We headed uptown, I let off people at BEST BUY on 23rd Street, at Macy’s (on 34th St) then we went to the Empire State Building.  They didn’t buy tickets so we took pictures in the lobby by the plaque of the ESB and the toy King Kong.  Then we went to Madame Tussaud’s and let off most of the passengers.  I walked the tour guide through Times Square to the M&M store which they called the Ampersand, which I guess is part of the M&M sign and at his request pointed out Lace, the adult café.

THE MAN WITH A CLOAK

One of Fletcher Markle’s better efforts based on a John Dickson Carr short story about a doctor, played by Joseph Cotton, helping Louis Calhern from being poisoned by his staff, led by an appropriately sinister Barbara Stanwyck.  Enjoyable.
