John, must it always be doom and gloom with you! Here is a chance to spare the whole human race a fate as bad as death, if not worse, and your concern is the one possible anti-asset. Anyhow, both of us (the asteroid and me) may get on nicely at our final destination. Who ways we have to crash right into it. Why not orbit Mars? Satellites have (I think). I'm no astrophysicist, just a common asteroid-wrangler but I do believe in looking at the bright side and accentuating the positive. If I didn't do that no asteroid would ever trust me.

The trick is to stop and tie your bootlace just before Roche's Limit, then look up startled and shout "Hey, where are you going? Wait for me! . . . ok, well, bye then." Works every time.
