I wrote another meme! And it's a doozy...
From the previous post, although some of the questions weren't my thing, I really liked the idea of using a list of random characters and putting them together to make some amusing situations.
So, in the light of upcoming AX and summer vacation, I've created this summer/convention meme for y'all to try if you'd like!! :D It's based on the meme that I recently posted and works the same way, but the questions are all summer-fun themed (and all rated G ;P ). I put AX as the convention since it's coming up soon, but it really could be any convention (altho probably a summer one :P ). It took me a while to write it, but I hope you find it fun!!
A summer vacation/convention story meme!
Write down the names of twelve fictional characters before you click the LJ-cut.
(They should be ones that are able to survive on land, e.g. purely aquatic characters should be transformed into a form that lets them go on land)
1) KOS-MOS - Xenosaga
2) Captain Picard - Star Trek: The Next Generation
3) Lady Chris - Suikoden III
4) Donald - Kingdom Hearts/Disney canon
5) Dory - Finding Nemo
6) Mytho - Princess Tutu
7) Stitch - Lilo & Stitch

Just a note, the meme is fairly long, so wait till you have some time if you want to do it all in one shot. :)
+Twelve characters from a variety of universes are invited (or abducted) to a little vacation full of good summertime fun, and a visit to AX. They are all transported to an airport where they meet and then set off together to LA.
+First, the airplane ride!
+++#11 has a very obnoxious kid sitting behind him/her, who constantly kicks his/her chair, and won’t stop. What will he/she do?
If he got really annoyed, then without disturbing anyone else he'd make a very scary face and hush the kid into silence (and probably make the parents of the kid really relieved too :P )
+++#4 and #12 are assigned to sit in the same row. Do they accept the arrangement? If so, who gets the window seat and who the isle? If not, do they succeed in getting reseated?
It seems like Tomoyo would be fine, and serene enough so that she doesn't piss off Donald. Donald seems to want to get out of his seat a lot, so Tomoyo takes the window.
+++They’ve come to a landing, but where’s #9’s luggage? It hasn’t come out yet, and everyone else has gotten theirs. Then, suddenly he/she sees someone walking away with it. What does he/she do?
Davis totally goes nuts, dashing after him and saying, "HEY, that's MINE! Come back with that, dammit!!" with DemiVeemon tackling the poor person before Ken points out that they just found a luggage that looks exactly the same as Davis's. ^^;;
+Oh, apparently the luggage thing was an honest mistake (luggage all looks alike nowadays!), and that’s all cleared up. Now for a day at the beach!!
+++Describe #2’s swimwear, if applicable.
Man, it was hard to get him into a swimsuit. When they did, he only agreed to put on a pair of dull red trunks. He doesn't look too bad in them, though!
+++Ooops! #5 has accidentally knocked over a kid's sand castle, and the kid's upset. What will he/she do about it?
Dory (in human form, I suppose?) first apologizes profusely, and then forgets who knocked over the castle but buys him an ice cream anyway. :P
+++What does #9 think of how #5 reacted, and does he/she do anything about it?
Davis thinks Dory is a really, really nice person. He invites her to sit next to Ken and him for the rest of the trip. :D
+++What would #3 and #8 do if they were stuck at the top of the Ferris Wheel together?
They would both probably at first sit quietly and look out at the scenery. Then they might start talking about their various experiences in their worlds. A very peaceful sort of time together.
+++Volleyball time! Team of the odd numbers vs. team of the even ones. Who's the best (and worst) player on each side? Which team wins?
For Team Odd, Best: KOS-MOS, being a very fast and very powerful cyborg, trumps all for skill and strength (although Stitch and Sullivan sure help too). Worst: Dory keeps forgetting the score, and isn't quite used to being human yet.
For Team Even, Best: Ms. Frizzle is an amazingly good volleyball player (apparently she was on the team at some point in high school?). Worst: Donald. He'd be better though if he didn't keep on losing his temper!
Team Odd wins, just because they have so much firepower on their side. :D;;
+Now, time for Anime Expo!
+++ Oh boy, someone made #3, #7, and #11 cosplay characters from one of your favorite animes or video games. Who in the world is each of them attempting to be, and are they succeeding?
Ooooh boy. Princess Tutu? Okay, um...I think Lady Chris might be Fakir, Stitch would be uh...Duck? And Sullivan...uh, Anteaterina? Lady Chris actually makes a good knight Fakir, being a knight herself and also fairly solemn (although she might feel a bit awkward anyway). Stitch doesn't look much like a duck, but ends up being cute anyway, when he's not getting in trouble with the con police for wrecking things or harassing people. Nobody knows who Sullivan is cosplaying when he does it, they just think he's playing himself and wonder why he's wearing a girl's uniform. XD
+++Someone sees #2 and #9 together and asks for their picture, saying they look cute together. What is each of their reactions, and do they consent?
Captain Picard is like, "...What?!" but Davis is like, "Oh, AWESOME! C'mon, Captain Picard, let's get in the picture!! Please? I've always wanted a picture with you!!" Even though Picard keeps saying he and kids don't go together, they get him to stand in a photo where Picard is frowning awkwardly and Davis is posing energetically with him. XD
+++AHHH!! A crowd of fanboys/girls is mobbing #10! What do they do?
She'd chuckle and say, "Oh, if my class was as enthusiastic as this every day, we'd get through the entire curriculum in three months!"
+++Suppose #10 is unable (or unwilling) to fend them off. How would #2 react?
Captain Picard, if he thought Ms. Frizzle was being bothered too much, would step in very authoritatively and demand that they all step back and give the professor her due space. That is before the fanboys crowd him, too. XD
+++Time for a little karaoke, and #1, #6, and #8 are up (willingly or not). (As an extra, pick the next three vocal songs that show up on your playlist, if you have some, and label each character with their song, putting #1 with the first, #6 with the second and #8 with the third.) How well does each sing?

KOS-MOS...doesn't do well with karaoke. She was made for combat, not for tone matching, so...um, at least she can say the words?
Mytho seems to be a very nice singer, and this song sounds interesting with his lower voice. People seem to like it! Bravo!
Ken...is a huge hit!! XD Ken was shy at first, but he really got into the song and sung with lots of emotion. He has a nice singing voice, and this song really matched him. At the end, Davis told him he should be a pop singer, which made Ken blush.
+++A member of the opposite gender (if applicable) of #5, apparently smitten by #5’s appearance at the convention, kneels and proposes marriage to him/her. How does he/she react?
Dory would be something like, "Oh, wow, marriage? That's really something! Wow.....say, um, why are you kneeling like that again? Did you fall? Here, let me help you get up!"
+Alrighty, enough of the fandom craziness for one day. Let’s go back and take a good rest!
+++They're on the way back to the hotel, and they get pulled over. Who'd be more likely to get a speeding ticket if they were driving, #6 or #7?
Ummm...STITCH!! XD I don't think anyone on this list is worse for safety driving, although Donald might give him a run for his money. XD
+++They're back at the rooms, and someone's brought a game console along with four controllers. As a final party (and for all the others’ entertainment) #1, #4, #10 and #12 play Super Smash Bros. (or another multiplayer game if you wish) all night. Who does each play as? Who’s the most skilled, who actually wins, and who has the most spectacular self-KOs?
KOS-MOS plays Samus, saying it's because her skills are similar to her own, so she'll be more intuitive on how to use them. Donald plays as Zelda for all the magic skills (and gets really irritated if someone teases him that he's playing a girl). Ms. Frizzle plays Ness, since apparently Earthbound was an old favorite of hers. And Tomoyo plays Princess Peach, because she loves her outfit -- but she always picks the Daisy form, because she likes that outfit best.
KOS-MOS has superior reflexes, so she's by far the most skilled and who wins. But Donald has some of the most awesome KOs on himself, because he tends to always kick open capsules that are explosive, right when he's high on hit percentage, so he goes flying off the screen faster than a torpedo. XD
+++And with that, it’s the end of their little vacation together. They all say farewell, and return to their respective homes. A last question - which of them do you think would do it all over again?
Davis, definitely. Ken I think too, since he had a lot of fun with Davis (and Dory XD ) Dory liked it, even if she couldn't remember all of it, but it seemed fun! Ms. Frizzle found it great fun, and Sullivan found the whole thing very amusing (although he feels glad to get back to work). Picard and Chris are all too ready to get back to their jobs, even though it was an interesting interlude for both of them.
