These little fluffy balls of terror are my cats. I drew this because it almost impossible to take a photo of them together, so I figure why not just draw a picture of them.
So here is who is who (for those who don't know) and a little bit about them:
Victory: The mostly black one. She is 10 years old. We got Victory from a friend. Her mother was a cat my sister and I found in our neighborhood. We when went to every house in the neighborhood asking if the cat belonged to them. No one claimed her. So we gave the lost cat to our friend, because her cat had recently died. Victory was from the second litter of five kittens. Victory is my sweet love. She sleeps on my bed with me just about every night since I was in middle school.
Pixel: The mostly white one. She is 2 years old. Pixel is a rescue cat. She crawled out of a dumpster that was behind a strip mall, near my church. Two ladies from the church had walked to the pet store and were coming back when they heard a cat meowing. They look under a over turned trash can but found nothing then they saw a kitten coming out of a dumpster. One lady was highly allergic to cats and couldn't touch her. So they walked back to the church and the kitten followed. Pixel banged her head on the glass door, to bring attention to herself. My mom happen to be there at the time and got wind there was a cat outside. Needless to say mom brought her home. She weighed 1 lb and 1 oz at 8 weeks old and had a little stubby tail. She is the weirdest cat we have ever had.
Archer: The "orange" one. He is 1 year old. Archer is also a rescue cat, he showed up at our house on Fathers Day last year. We suspect he had been thrown out of a moving car, because his paw pads were torn. We named him after Capt. Archer from Star Trek: Enterprise. His nickname is Captain.
As far as the image itself. I start working on it a few weeks ago and then put it down because I was stuck on how to do the background, then things got hectic with all the SCAD stuff. So, I finally found the time, energy and drive to finish it. I'm the least happy with how Archer's face came out, it should be rounder. I tried to make it look like there was carpet under them, I think I failed. Archer's markings are not 100% accurate because they're so complex, but close enough that I'm satisfied with them.
