volcanoes
Yesterday I got up at 3:30 in the morning to be driven up a mountain to see the sun rising over some active volcanoes. Smoke was coming out of them (well, presumubly smoke...).
Then we drove over to one of the volcanoes (bromo) and walked (I had the choice to take a horse part of the way, but choose not to. I sort of wish I had) up the side to look into it as smoke came out. Crazy!
Then I walked through a dusty/sandy valley and climbed up a hill to get back to the town before I took buses forever and ever to get to bali.
