[ TRC, CCS, OP, SP, Bleach ]
Notes/Babbling: I know, I know, it's been awhile again. I sort of got caught up in writing HanaKimi and Saiyuki fic (Saiyuki fic? WTF. o__oa) and then I was cranky for awhile and hopefully I'll quit being pissy now. *beams* But, in the meantime, just a small update for now. I wanted to make this longer, but I have crap for an attention span today. Complete and utter crap.

- Tsubasa RESERVoir Chronicles - tsu_slavetoyou.txt by Meg - [ part 01 - part 02 ] - (In lieu of what else to call it, I'll just gank Meg's filename for it. >D) After reading this? I really only have one thing to say. MEG NEEDS TO GO BACK TO WRITING TRC *RIGHT NOW*. Well, okay. That's not the only thing I have to say, but I think it was the most prominent. In the hands of most authors, I wouldn't have trusted the idea of the TRC group being dropped into a situation that required they pose as slavers/slaves, because it just would have been... wince-worthy, but Meg not only manages to make it not awkward, but to make it work. The way the background world just falls into place, vivid and in detail, while still allowing the story to move along at a proper pace and drop in all the usual sorts of little details (like Fye and Kurogane's interaction <3) that makes TRC so much fun. It's one of those things that could have taken place in the series, is interesting for the hints of plot, and all the fun fanservice. XD (Some Syaoran/Sakura, Fye/Kurogane.)
- Cardcaptor Sakura/Tsubasa RESERVoir Chronicles - Time After Time by Meg - Speaking of fic that Meg needs to get back to working on... the potential for crossover between CCS and TRC is immense, but it would take a talented hand to pull it off with style, because it could so easily go flat. Meg certainly has a way with the CCS characters, all these little looks or implied meaning underneath the characters' words, and an ability to make me genuinely curious about where the scene is going next. She didn't go for the obvious tossing the two Syaorans together or the two Sakuras together, instead making it a lot more interesting to wonder how Eriol and Tomoyo (plus, Kurogane's seeing Tomoyo was wonderfully done <3) were going to handle this. Want mooooooore. (Hints of all the usual pairings, but nothing explicit.)
- One Piece - One Sided Love by Jaelle - This was... oh, this was adorable and funny and made me giggle the entire way through. The silliness, the snark, the amount of detail you could glean off the situation, even with just the dialogue and then a perfect ending. (One-sided Sanji pairing.)
- One Piece - The In-Laws by Jaelle - Heeheehee, I loved this, it's just so... One Piece-like. It's hard to describe it without giving the whole thing away, but it's set about ten years in the future, with the marraige of Koby and Rika ("the little girl who feeds Zoro riceballs WAAAAY back at his first appearance") and... well, you can about imagine all of the batshit insanity that's going to happen given the setting. Jaelle does it beautifully, too, the kind of writing that has just the right amount of details, heart, amusement (Koby and Helmeppo arguing at the beginning is priceless <3), and batshit insanity that I could just see this happening in the actual series itself. And, god, the ending. So much fun. (Koby/Rika.)
- Sex Pistols - Lying on needles by rei_kurasaki - ....I'm sort of surprised that Sex Pistols fic exists and, yet, I'm sort of not surprised Sex Pistols fic exists. Either way, I'm certainly not complaining because this was a lovely little Yonekuni POV story that just nailed the character, both his irritation at when Shirou is away and his reluctance to quite admit that he misses him. The tone of voice, especially the way the bad mood permeated all his thoughts that you could just feel, was very nicely done here. <3 (Yonekuni/Shirou.)
- Sex Pistols - just lay it all down by Ju - *shimmers* Kunimasa POV this time, on his relationship with Norio and the weirdness in their lives, all the frustration at the way things turned out in the second volume, yet... still so Kunimasa in tone. I could absolutely picture them the entire time and it's just... it was pure Sex Pistols, yes. <3 (Kunimasa/Norio.)
- Bleach - Thunderstorm by Nueva Yui Maxwell - So I sort of drift back and forth between the idea of Urahara/Yoruichi and Yoruichi/Soi Fong, but I sort of expected that I'd never find Urahara/Yoruichi fic, so finding this story... it was a treat just for that. Plus, it was really kinda cute, I liked the way they interacted, I liked the last line of the fic, and it just... it left me feeling warm and fuzzy. I don't ask for much more. :D (Urahara/Yoruichi.)
