Skip Beat! Chapter 120 (spoiler warning)
I got this chapter off of the Chinese Skip Beat community site earlier today. Only felt like translating two of the pages since I was curious as to what they were saying.
But this would also be a summary of what generally happened. (Maybe, I'll post more raw scans later.. Eh... If I'm in the mood. Not really suppose to be on at this moment. >_<)

So, in our last chapter which is 119, we have Ren handing Kyoko a rose and wishing her a happy 17th birthday. So.... In 120, we continue with Moko-chan thinking to herself, before finding Kyoko with...Ren. Ren and Kyoko are still in their poses from the last pages of 119. Kyoko asks Ren, of course, about knowing her birthday. I have yet to translate what Ren says, but whatever he says, he says it with one of those smiles (-exactly the same smile that he used when he gave Kyoko the handkerchief). Anyways, the rose made Kyoko very happy and she recalls her own past about getting a present (probably from Sho's mother). Then, Moko-chan comes over and glares at Kyoko. Kyoko wonders what is bugging Moko to a point that she thinks Moko's face looks like a demon's. Moko-chan goes to one area of the room and comes back with...well, whaddya know. A bag a.k.a. gift.
Kyoko opens up the present on the table in back of her and it reveals... tada... A cutesy cosmetic kit! This goes back to the previous previous chapter of Moko-chan window shopping and looking at all those "princess make-up" looking things in the store window. Now, we know why she was doing it, although, the last chapter sort of gave me a hint already. Moko-chan's gift sends Kyoko into one of her "omigosh cosmetic stuff" emotional mood (a.k.a. Kyoko's own little fantasy world). Moko gains satisfaction of having her gift surpass Ren's rose.
Ren is well, speechless going, "........" at the scene in front of him. Yashiro comes along and wonders exactly what is going on. His expression is priceless. *smirks*
Then, Ren and Yashiro talk a little. This conversation ends up with Ren flashbacking to when he and Kyoko were little. Now, this page here describes the middle part of the scene.
The scene that's not shown though before this is of Kyoko explaining to little Kuon that her birthday is on December 25th. Now, on this middle part, she goes on to say that despite her birthday being on Christmas, there is trouble in her home so because of that trouble.. She rather celebrate Christmas instead of her own birthday. Kuon (Corn/Ren) asks if that's really alright with Kyoko. Kyoko replies that as long as she's celebrating with another person, she'll be fine.
Actually, I translated a little beyond the two pages but I'm starting to forget what they were saying exactly.
The flashback ends with little Kyoko smiling happily. Now, back in reality, Ren is probably repeating a bit of what Kyoko told him to Yashiro. Yashiro goes, "Uh...um...?" after he wasn't able to answer Ren's question. I guess this relates to Kyoko's happiness. Since after that part, Ren says, "That..." indicating to the Daruma couple coming up to Kyoko and giving her their gifts. Kyoko was very happy and hugged the taisho's wife. Both Yashiro and Ren watch with smiling faces. Ren's face, especially, had his nice smile on. ^_^ Hehe.
Then, the chapter ends with the biggest surprise for Kyoko. A huge birthday cake and a "happy birthday" song (in English) by everyone in the room! ^o^ Yaaaaay!! Kyoko got so many flowers as gifts. Lucky girl. She deserves it after all that hard work for this special "thank you" party, which ended up not being one at all. I bet she's been working so hard with other people and rarely has a birthday. Heh. Her own mother won't even congratulate her, of course.
Now, with that post done... *sighs* Time to get back to work. >_>
