Friday
So it's Friday! I'm listening to the new Adele song. Eh, I'm not impressed. I think I'll change it to something else. There. I changed it to Dua Lipa. I like some of her songs. Especially her latest album. It reminds me of the 70s Disco era! Love it.
My plans today is to have our church friends over for dinner. We haven't seen them in over a year. I like talking with them. I am cooking lemon pepper chicken, green beans, roasted yellow squash and broccoli, salad topped with cucumber and tomato, and garlic bread. I hope they enjoy the food.
I am not a baker, but I think I'm a pretty good cook. Learned from the best. My Mama! I didn't appreciate the skills when I was younger, but definitely do now. I try to get the kids involved with cooking, but they have no interest. Guess they'll call me when they're on their own wondering how to cook chicken or roast vegetables haha
I hope Sean is in a good mood when he gets home. It's great when he is. I'm not sure what our plans are for tomorrow. My mama wants me to visit with her tomorrow or Sunday. Somewhere in between I gotta grocery shop for dinners and the kids' lunches for next week. I would like to see my parents' new apartment though. Today is my aunt's birthday so my mom is cooking her a birthday lunch Sunday. I'll probably go then. Sean will want to go too.
I still gotta shave my legs. I always do on Fridays or Saturdays. Yes, I even have a schedule for my shaving and hair washing lol I know I'm not the only one.
What I need to schedule is my hair appt to dye it. It's for a new place and you know of course I hate talking on the phone and setting up anything. I'm jealous of others who make it look easy to make appts and talk on the phone. It's not easy for me.
I'm still debating whether to dress up for the dinner tonight or not. The weather right now is so bipolar. It's cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon, but by the evening it's chilly again. Heck, maybe I'll wear shorts anyway IF I shave my legs. Definitely not gonna wear a dress. I want to paint my nails just not tonight. Another time. I also want to paint them rainbow. Why? Because it'd be fun and I saw a movie last night where a lady had hers painted liked that and I thought they were pretty. Don't know why I didn't think to do that with my own.
I keep saving these TikTok videos on all sorts of things. Recipes, hairstyles, music and dog videos...but especially saving hairstyle ones. Maybe I'll try a new hairstyle before I chop it off!
