Sedentary
Last weekend we all went to say goodbye officially to Pete and Beverly. It was a very nice funeral. The navy was there to be respectful and fold Pete's flag. I became emotional and held onto my tears as best I could. Their family, friends, and neighbors were there too. Everyone had a story. Everyone will miss them. I know they were Sean's parents, but they were cool people and I don't think of them as parental figures. Maybe because they weren't mine. They were my much older friends. I'll miss them.
My friend Kelly came by today with lunch. We caught up on a few things. I hadn't seen her since last year sometime. Covid has changed so much. So many friendships are relationships aren't the same. I am glad me and her are on the same page though. She claims to be a flaming liberal haha I am close, but not too extreme. Sean identifies as a moderate democrat. I don't know how to label myself. Anyway, it was nice to see her. We talked about our lives, good times, and struggles. We'll hang out again in December. Oz loves her, but she don't love him lol He loves all humans.
I don't realize it until I'm talking to others that I live a sedentary life. I don't do much. I do chores, watch tv, and cook. Cleaning too. I never thought my life would turn out like this. I admit I am jealous of others who can go out and do things without a care in the world about their health or anxiety. Maybe one day I can too.
I got my final laptop stickers in the mail today all the way from Europe! I'm sure I'll collect more stickers along the way. Right now I have Halsey, Taylor Swift, Climate Change, Women's Rights, and The Handmaid's Tale stickers on my laptop! I love them. I also put a few on my iPad cover and our old fridge downstairs.
My friend Danyel and her family are in North Georgia hiking and picking apples. I haven't ever been the type to do activities like that. Maybe I should try it. She seems to enjoy it.
I was gonna watch a movie or a show, but it's almost time for Sean to get home so I'll just wait and watch something tomorrow. We'll continue Superstore and Y: The Last Man tonight.
