Report of (another!) short trip to Rome :3

Feb 19, 2015 22:47

I mean, something new XD

First of all, pimping two new articles over my Rome's blog.

This time I delivered promptly, so you can read something cool and detailed already ;D Here are the direct links to the posts dedicated to an exhibition at Quirinal palace and the report of the Railway Museum of Porta San Paolo :D

So, after the visit to the railway museum, which is conveniently located by the train station of the metro from where I usually get off at >D, I went to some flea markets to shop for some cosplay stuff.
I couldn't find everything I need, but I came back home with a new wig and golden fabric for the revamping of my Kycilia's cosplay :D
Here are some pictures from the Esquiline market, where I found the required fabric:

Next was lunch at the Japanese restaurant Doozo :D After Babi introduced me to the pleasures of chirashizushi I can't get enough anymore T^T !!

Next was the stop to Quirinal palace for the exhibition-- I could access just the hall of the exhibition, as the place is usually not open to the public, and it was already exciting!
On top of it I got to see a military ceremony of sort and some pretty Corazzieri passed by! KYAAAAH!

No, I won't excuse myself for my military passion XD

On my way back to the station, I took my time to take a peek to the close-by Basilica of St. Mary of Angels and Martyrs-- I'm not a fan of contemporary art, but the works of Mitoraj do have their charm--

--And, well, that's all for today!
