--I touched on my historical Nobunaga figurines on
this post about recent NobuShopping, since yesterday morning I got the last one I decided to take some proper pictures and finally talk about them :D
First of all, a brief picture about the boxes, 'cause I know that some otakus are OTAKUS like that XD
Don't know if the one of Sengoku Eiyuu Retsuden (戦国英雄烈伝) is the original one-- The other two are different despite being from the same series (Historical Figure Museum) because the one of Sengoku Funroku (戦国風雲録) was, not only a special version featuring extra part, but also a "candy toy", meaning that inside the box there was some kind of candy/gum as an extra.
The blister of Sengoku no Hasha (戦国の覇者) features
a cute scene of Takeda vs Uesugi adventures... Don't know it it was in the maker's intention, but it works nicely as a postcard of sort ^_^
But now let's talk about the figures :D
First goes this Nobunaga from the Sengoku no Hasha (戦国の覇者) collection of Historical Figure museum (ヒストリカルフィギュアミュージアム) series ^_^
This was the last figurine that I got in order, found on Ebay at a relatively decent price, but I show it for first because it was the first in order to be released :D
I love this canon representation of Nobunaga, with his Portuguese armoir, his red cape and his badass yet laid-back aura :D
Second this Nobunaga from Sengoku Funroku (戦国風雲録) collection, which is the fourth collection from the same series of figurines as above, Historical Figure museum (ヒストリカルフィギュアミュージアム).
Here you can behold Nobunaha in all the wild youth of his Owari days ^_^
I found this representation a bit "over the top", eating daikon as he desecrate his father's altar, but, well, I'm not going to complain-- It's a pretty cool figurine anyway :3
I have the "special edition" with extra parts that allow the figurine to be "mounted" on a horse from the same series... I'm keeping an eye out for it, but it's weirdly rare to find ;_; ..I arranged the figurine with the alternative parts on my daruma (time to put it to good use, also ò_o) to show you how it'd look. GOTTA LOVE THE CASUAL RIDING STYLE OF NOBU x'D
--I got this one from an auction from Yahoo! Japan.
Last but not least, probably my favourite piece, a beautiful Nobu in his late 40s during the Incident at Honnouji-- This is from the Sengoku Eiyuu Retsuden (戦国英雄烈伝) series of gashapon, and I bought it at an online shop for a ridiculous price ^o^ !!
I love his spear and platform!
The "plus" factor is that the back of the figure is orange-ish, as to give the idea of the fire behind him!! Simply wonderful >o< !!
And that's all-- As I was saying around, I'm very proud of this tiny collection of mine.
I could have started to collect Nobunaga from various anime and videogame series, but to be honest those are all representations that I dislike or plainly hate... So I decided to go with the actual historical figure, cleaned by personal interpretations or visions.
I'm very satisfied by this tiny collection already, but I don't esclude that in the future I may get more pieces to enrich it, assuming that they'd be coherent and affordable enough.
For example, I got my eyes on
this Nobunaga figure from First Legion, but look at the price..? It's insane ^_^; !
Yet, it's really wonderful *_* Maybe I can give it a thought if my next Christmas bonus will go especially well >3>; ...
