Random Gundam Post #4, where Dae is a pirate and a cheater!
Ok, ok, in the next post I'll talk about something else but Gundam, ok D: ?
So, in the end I cheated, and watched Char's Counterattack before completing the whole ZZ Gundam crap. Oh, seriously, do I HAVE TO watch it ;_; ..? I'm still at episode 7 and I'm already sick of its stupid humor T_T; Anyone who watched it can tell me if it gets better? I'd like to watch it because of Haman, but I don't think that I could bear the stupid jokes any longer ;_; ...I'll probably drop it.
Also, I wanna watch Gundam 0083 (Stardust Memory) next, but I can't find any subs, only the streaming of the English dubbing, and I can't understand a thing T_T; --I'll probably have to register to some crappy forum to get the Italian subs downloads... UGH, DO NOT WANT.

Very well, WHAT IS THIS CRAP D: ?
I gave it a 7 on MAL only because of the awesome animation and because Char in his 30s is hot but the characterizations was worth a 5!
First, I'm ok with the introduction of new characters, since that's what every new Gundam release is for (LOL), but why it has to be worthless Mary-Sues =_= ?
Let's talk about shitty Quess, then:
This useless brat is the daughter of a Federation's higher-up and is a Newtypes fangirl, but since Amuro wasn't into loli, she decided to join Neo Zeon and act like Char's wife.
Despite being childish, stupid and obviously a retard, everyone has a crush on her.
Char is ok with flirting wih this idiot to use her Newtype skills, Hathaway (Noa and Mirei's son :D HOW CUTE >o< !!) intrudes the battlefield and steals a gundam to go after this bitch and even the most interesting character of the whole thing, lovely psycho-newtype Gyunei, is in love with her an decides that Char is worthless because of it.
Basically, she's a lolified version of Reccoa, and another useless character that brings shame to women in the world =_=
Of course Quess is rich, spoiled, can do everything perfectly (obviously she can pilot a psycho-enhanced mobil suit without any problem, she's soooo awesome!) and in the whole thing she even managed to kill her father 'cause she's a moron.
Fortunately she died, but all the useless huggling with Char still makes my eyes bleed =_= Also if I liked her design as a Zeon's pilot, with the cute uniform and the braids!
There's another useless character in Char's harem, and it's Nanai.
At first I found her quite hot and dignified, and I approved of Char's taste with women, but then she turned again into a whiny bitch who can only think with her vagina. WHY DO MALES THINK THAT ROMANCE IS THE ONLY THING THAT WOMEN CARE ABOUT?
Of course Chan or how the hell she was called falls in the same category. She's the mechanic of Amuro and apparently someone that he likes to kiss and fondle. WHY. WHYYY? I mean, it's still a better choice that Beltorchika, but WHY XD ?!!
--And I also love how Amuro flirts with everyone, but still dreams about Lalah and is jealous that she cares about him and Char the same way XD
I really hated how the whole deal about Char was resolved :/ (in this picture with Quess and Gyunei):
I hate how he turned into the same crappy character as Scirocco, using women as objects to improve his army. His relation with Quess is he same as Scirocco/Sarah, with the difference that at least Scirocco cared about Sarah, if not as a lover, at least as a human being :/
Many website like to think that he "settled down" with Nanai, but my impression is that he's just using her because she's a capable officer. You can tell many times that he's really bothered by her flirting and he cared very little about her feelings (like how he shouted her to not mingle with his battle with Amuro, LOL XD)... I don't understand how Char turned from the totally cool thing of the first series and the "eternal (clumsy) bachelor" of Zeta into the "sentimental" opportunist that we're shown here. --Sure, it's probably because he couldn't react properly to Lalah's death and because it's useful to have a few whores who are willing to die for you, but wasn't it better to let him keep some "dignity" instead of making him act like a host =_= ..?
Also, the final battle with Amuro and their death. LOL.
I loved how everything was fixed up thanks to some psycho-crap. So his last words are that probably he saw a maternal figure in Lalah..? WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIT XDDDD ?!
Apparently if Casval got some nice psychotherapy, there wouldn't have been any war. LOL, never underestimate the power of a Mother Complex coming out of nowhere!
My god, that was so grotesque =_= Probably Char just had to had some smexy session with Amuro, this way they would have gone over their horrible tastes in women.
--The only thing that I was grateful for was that at least Char still has the same opinions about politics and leadership (I believe that his best role was in Gundam Z!) and that he still was fucking hot.
I'm still in denial about Gyunei.
He was a character with such awesome potential, why he was he turned into a stupid clown because of shitty Quess D': ?!
Gyunei was somehow similar to another cute psycho-Newtype, Gates. They were both stable types, and they were both given the task to assist the unstable "main pilot" (here stupid Quess and Rosamia in Zeta) because of this.
Gyunei offered himself to be tested as a psycho-newtype after his family was klled by the Feds, and it was really interesting to see his relationship with the other pilots, who were normal newtypes and tended to mistreat him... Besides the fact that they can turn into schizos, it was intriguing to set such a scenario for psycho-newtypes.
At first Gyunei acted as Char's personal guard/vallet and really respected him, then Quess happened =_= He decided that Char was an obstacle for his love story and decided to look cooler in battle and protecting that little shit, thus meeting his pointless death. --But he also spoke the truth about Char, saying that the only one he was in love with was Lalah and falling in love with him was pointless XD (I'd like to know how he get to know so many private things about Char, even the fact that he whimpers Lalah's name in his sleep-- FUFUFU.)
So, yeah... Totally shitty :/ But the movie itself was still nice to watch, because I think that Char trying to destroy the earth for the sake of humankind was a nice move to conclude the arc of this character, it was nice to see some old characters again (Mirai and Bloom-san, LOL!) and the animation was just breathtaking D: ..!
So yeah. I wouldn't rec it, but if you can find it online for free, you should give it a peek if just for the quality :D
...And ok, have some random Char to make this post better x'DD
