Fatece largo che passamo noi∼

Today me and Teap had a very touristic day in Rome ù_u !
I compiled a proper report for your enjoyment with THOUSANDS OF PICS.
Enjoy!

I'll buy one of these someday, I know.

Teap: I bet you'd buy one and wear it in Tokyo.
Dae: I could even wear this in New York, actually.

We met in Piazza Campo dè Fiori.
It's a very "popular" place in Rome, and it's noteable because it's the only square in Rome that doesn't feature a church.
On the contrary, there's a statue of Giordano Bruno, a famous heretic that was burnt there by Inquisition, and he was elected as a popular symbol of the Freedom of Speech.
Here you can spot him as he checks the market out from his high position XD

And now a few shots dedicated to the market :3
Unfortunately, just like the restaurants around there, they are full of crappy stuff for tourists, but your Dae here is helping you to tell what's good for you and what isn't!

LOLOLOL, this was in front of a fruit stand XDD
"All the ladies who will be caught feeling the fruits, will be felt in return - The Owner" XD

The "skyline".

--He's the boss!

Random Virgin Mary.

LOL x'D

LOL, the infamous Alfredo's pasta XDDD
If you see stuff like "Alfredo's Pasta" or "Pasta with Meatball" consider that they are just trying to profit out of you innocent tourists.
WE DON'T EAT THOSE IN ITALY.

--But maybe those places are nice, if you try other dishes. Baccanale has a cute selection of "fresh products" to check out in the middle of the street to show you.
Here you can see fettuccine, pappardelle and gnocchi :3

Anyway, if you hapen around there, go to a restaurant called La Carbonara. I didn't eat there so I can't tell for sure that it's worth your money, but at least they didn't feature the infamous Alfredo's or meatballs in their menu.

Also, THIS.
This kind of coloured pasta is CRAP. --Just think, if it's so good and "typically Italian", why you never see it used in restaurants..?
If you wanna buy good food, go where Italians buy them: SUPERMARKETS.

Satisfied with our lunch (see next report for infos), we got ready for our next tour.
Teap brought a map, LOL x'DDD

We're heading to Trastevere, BITCHES :D
Here, got a look of the placid "Blonde Tiber" XD

Meet Trilussa.
--MAESTRO ;___; !!!

--I found a translation in English here, so I'm posting that :D
You comopletely lost the Romanesque accent, but at least it rhymes like the original XDD ..?

"I read my paper, back propped against the hay.
Here comes a hog, so I look up and say,
"Goodbye, pig!" And then across the grass
here comes a donkey; I say, "Goodbye, ass!"
No way of telling if they've understood.
Whether they have or not, it does me good
to call things what they are without the dread
of having to go to jail for what I've said. "

"It's still the same today, Maestro!"

--I was explaining to Teap that Rome is full with fountains "sponsored" by popes because it was a way to make "propaganda" about their good job.
Free water in the streets was a luxury for both inhabitants than tourists, coming to Rome with thirsty horses and such :3

This is the only restaurant in Rome where you pay to get insulted, LOL XD

This explains it all:
"We're closed on Sunday, go eat home!"

--What kind of tree do you think it is..?

Teap: STOP ASKING ME THIS KIND OF BOTANICAL QUESTIONS! I don't know!!
x'DD

The church of Santa Maria in Trastevere!

--Again XD

Meet Gioacchino Belli!

--And so we got back to Largo Argentina :3

--Of course, CATS!

So fat and cute D: ...

So, me and Teap walked to Piazza Venezia to get some touristic sightseeing.

Here we are on the steps that brought to Ara Coeli church.
Of course me and Teap DIED after the walked all those steps XDD --The church inside was breathtaking ;o; !! It wasn't allowed to take pictures but Teap took some XDD You'll see them on her journal once she'll decide to share 'em XD

The sky over Rome.

Capitol Hill!

The view from the Vittoriano's side.

--And from there we concluded our touristical trip to a walk in Via del Corso :3

A bar. Just wanted to show you the gelato XD

Berlusconi announced that he was leaving the government, so people gathered around to insult him.
LOL.

Guy cooking chestnuts in the street :3

Obikà's a REALLY expensive place.
But we left wit our tummies full and happy. So yeah, this place was quite good.
(Also, apparently my thingie was for two persons. I ate it all by myself, sharing only the spicy stuff with Teap XD)

The one that we visited was located right into Campo dè Fiori.
I read about it on a touristic guide to Rome, LOL.
I read some terrible reviews on the internet so I got a bit afraid XDD But the food was quite good D: !!!

The mozzarella "cried"! *thumbs up*

So, we had a bottle of water (0,45 lt), a tasting of Pontina and Smoked Bufala mozzarellas (they were HUGE), I got a massive "cutting board" filled with all kinds of salumi and cheese delicacies-- Even grilled bread covered with this absurdly spicy salami (LOL, I'm doomed to get spicy food everytime XD) and a delicious Caponata with pine kernels and capers ;o; ♥, while Teap got a baby spinaches salad with charcoal roasted ham, walnuts
and Pecorino.
--Also, a tiny basket filled with delicious bread ;3;

--In the end we even managed to get a "mini" dessert XD I got a classic Tiramisù, while Teap experimented that ricotta of bufala mousse with honey, orange peel and pine nuts dessert.
We spent 49,50 euros.
--LOL, SCREW ECONOMICAL CRISIS x'DD

Doujinshi!! We checked those out on the Ara Coeli steps. LOL, we are such rebels!!
Anyway, Teap brought me delicious Antonio/Kotetsu porn to cheer myself up :D <3
The book that you spot on the pic was nicely PORN AND BARA STUFF AND KOTETSU TOPPED ANTONIO.
Teaop also got this from my favourite circle ;o; ♥, a porny and fun delicacy featuring Antonio and Kotetsu as highschoolers (And Bunny & Nathan as student A and B, LOL XD) from the drama-cd-verse∼
The other book was an hilarious gag thingie about Bunny and Kotetsu and the other a serious, cute, moving story about Keith and his sponsor ;_; ♥

--This bit about Kotetsu and Antonio wondering if they can consider each other friends made us go "AWWWWWW ;o;" !!
--Aaah, let's hope that season two of T&B will give us more Bison's goodness!

So yeah-- Going to read Beelzebub and Minoru's last released chapters and then I'll go to sleep :D Sorry for typos or/and weird errors, I'm kinda sleepy by now x'D ..!
