Pairing rant--
'Cause I really need to get this out of my system XD
• I really don't like Yukio/Rin from Ao no Exorcist, as much as I'd like to (I'M VERY SORRY, herongale, 1010nabulation ;o;).
I don't really think that the characters are very close. Actually, it's very much as if they lived completely different lives 'til their "High School Days". Yukio managed to study as an exorcist, which implied going on missions with Father and such, and Rin seems completely oblivious about it.
Yukio is shown holding some grudge against Rin too, hating on his demonic nature just like everyone else (also if later he comes to accept it, OBVIOUSLY XD).
So yeah, I don't really think there's a premise to see them humping on each other for some kind of sexual attraction thing. It'd be too sudden, and it wouldn't have any foundation like trust or dependency. Even playing it on brotherly love-- It doesn't give such a strong vibe.
herongale came with the intriguing similarity with Akimaru/Haruna, but seriously XD ? Yukio doesn't really look so dependant and eager to please Rin as Akimaru with Harunya.
Aki and Haru lived pretty close lives since childhood, they are childhood friends, something that Yukio and Rin were not.
Akimaru based his whole life and tastes over Harunya, where Yukio just decided to become an exorcist inspired by Father.
If something, one should ship both Rin and Yukio with their father, but it'd be SO WRONG on too many levels that I prefer to give up on it x'DDD
So, yeah, for now I can't really support any pairing on this series and I'm quite bothered by some romantic implications thrown here and there-- Like Rin/Shiemi, for example XD I just find Shiemi too unnerving Dx But I also don't feel like leaving her to a life of solitude D:
...I would like to see Mephisto/Neuhaus and I'm really keen on Shura/Rin :D
Honestly, I don't like this series very much in the first place :/
• As much as I find TIGER&BUNNY extremely entertaining, I can't say that I'm extremely passionate about it, like aflyingteapot is, for example XD
Yet, I can't really complain about anything about it, I'm enjoying every episode with a pure heart ;_; !!
I'm not very fond on Kotetsu/Barnaby, though.
Actually, I'm not very fond on anything but Kotetsu/Antonio, but this awesome pairing is so subdued and non-existant after Bunny's arrival that it's difficult to support for me too, if it weren't for INK's deliciousness XD
I don't like where this is going. At first Antonio and Kotetsu were all lovey-dovey (of course!), then it became an Antonio unrequited thing and now it's just disappearing all over XD
Well, I'm not expecting Kotetsu to become a fan of hot muscular men all of a sudden, since he was married to someone as cute as Tomoe it's obvious that he'd prefer a more feminine partner like Bunny anyway, BUT, if I have to see him getting hot sex after getting drunk, it'd work better with Antonio than with Bunny, no matter what canon implies XD
• I REALLY HATE KUROSHITSUJI ANIME. APPARENTLY IT MADE MORE DAMAGE THAN WWII.
I'm really REALLY SICK of my adorable Grell getting stuck with Sebastian and NOW with Undertaker.
I find it IGNOMINOUS that people still like to draw Undertaker/Grell because of that shitty anime (or because their brain just don't work well) when the last manga chapter offered us that WONDERFUL Undertaker/Aleister that I can't still recover from (my nose sprayed blood all over the screen. I had to chomp on raw liver to get a hold of myself).
This fandom is SO IRRITATING. And the fact that many good artists are stuck on the anime canon DOESN'T HELP. These shitheads should give their contribution to the RIGHT STUFF, not the absurd cracky one. I FEEL LIKE SLAPPING EVERYONE IN THE FACE D'x
