All my life I've been hearing about edible chestnuts, but I've never actually eaten one. ;_; Even though the edible chestnut is supposedly the only chestnut species that grows here. ;_;

Say, are those basil leaves in the second photo? :D

XD
Yeah, I remember about someone here telling me that chestnuts in Poland are used to feed pigs XDDD
Thinking that they can get SO EXPENSIVE here during Christmas and such! You can get also a kind of flour from them, wonderful for cakes :3

Yep, it's basil ^_^ --Of course I threw it away, LOL XD

Really? I had no idea! XD But I know wild boars eat acorns, so I guess it only makes sense. :D *feels ashamed that an Italian lectures him on the agriculture of his own country* XD

How could you, basil is delicious! ;_;

I don't like it ;3;

I think it's quite likely - after all chestnut trees are very common here and they can drop a whole lot of chestnuts, enough to make them piggies happy. XD

I thought it was garlic you didn't like! XD

PS. Have you seen my latest LJ entry? ARE YOU EVEN RSSING ME?! X'DD

I see ;3;

I don't like garlic, eggplants, onion, all kind of vegetables but cicory and some kinds of salad, basil, parsley and celery.
Is it enough XDD ?

Yeah, I spotted your entry but I didn't come with anything fun to comment it with ;_;
--I think that you need to get more LJ friends XD

To each their own, but you're missing out! XD

At least tell me if you liked it and would care to see more in that manner. Do you civilised western people even remember such ancient technology? XD

Maybe, but you know what they say - quantity over quality! ^^ *obvious suck-up* XD

--I don't know, I just hate the flavour ;o; But som,etimes I like that... It depends on how they are cooked é_è

LOL, I do remember about those-- I still have a few... But the most of them were bootleged from my friend's CDs :D I never cared about CDs for a long time-- XD I think that I had my first CD player when I was... 18? 19? And it was one that had a cassette-player attached, 'cause at the time I couldn't find a cassette-player alone anymore XDD
*fails at technologic development*

My father has grown his own basil since forever, he makes really delicious tomatoes with garlic and basil. ^^

I only had one tape copied from a CD - I bought a certain CD single and because it wasn't released on tape I had to make a copy over at my aunt's house to be able to listen to it. :D But other than that I only had copies of other tapes, some stuff recorded from the radio and even one cassette sourced from my friend's MP3s! XD
