WAH! "Antique Bakery" Doujinshi!

I guess you guys should know Antique Bakery.
It's a series that deals with a childhood trauma suffered by the protagonist, Tachibana, that decided to open a sweets-shop to find the guy who kidnapped him when he was a kid.

I loved them too~ but oh so depressing. Yoshinaga Fumi's really into particular types, and Ono/Tachibana happen to fit them perfectly and so the dj's were both a blessing and a curse for me? Also, I'm a little sick of the fact that Ono can't get his act together~~

But it's true, I realized that the Yaoi I prefer is still that with troublesome relationships and feelings swapping... It's a reason for which I both like and dislike Junjou Romantica: there're so many hints to alternative juicy pairings (I WANT USAGI-NII IN PORNY SITUATIONS WITH USAGI-SAN D': !!) but the author is so stuck to his OTPs.... For example, I really hate how Usami and Hiroki are no longer shown together at all ;_; They were bestfriends before Nowaki's arrival!

Did you read The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese and its sequel The Carp on the Chopping Block Jumps Twice..? IT BROKE MY HEART AT EVERY PAGE, but I truly LOVED it! *cries a little more thinking of it*

Ahah yeah. She's really really into the serious!uke type and the playful!seme (ok- that's really simplified but you get the idea).

I- don't mind troublesome relationships myself, but oh, I'm such a sucker for a happy ending that for me, it has to end in one - and AB is messing me up too much for that- as far as plotline goes, while I know the DJ's are mostly canon, I have to ignore them and pretend that eventually, eventually, Ono&Tachibana get together~~. (And don't get me started on JR- that really needs to show people actually having a life outside of their lovers).

I read the first one and loved it- despite how much it broke my heart. I was waiting for the second to be finished before reading that one- but now I'm waiting before exams to be over to dive into it. I'm looking foward to it. XD

I also like Chikage/Tachibana, that little doujinshi about the fangirl fantasy really made me happy XDXD I'm glad it met even Tachibana's approval X'D
Still, I hope for some more actual Ono/Tachibana >3> I mean, for me the whole story is about that subtexty pairing!

Ah, the last chapter of Carp has been just released :D
I guess you can read it happily now ^_^

But I wonder about Tachibana's actual thoughts on the whole thing... I like to think that he's somehow attracted by Ono, but it just looks like he's acting out of kindness 'cause he felt guilty for what happened in high school é_è
I hope Yoshinaga-sensei will come with something about it soon ;_;
