Updates on the doujinshi making, rabid plot bunnies and preorder∼
The missed chance to sell Patience at Lucca'08 kinda motivated me to get more active on the web front for my fanbooks selling.
Some people already showed me their interest in purchasing... So here's an informative post about the stuff ^_^

• NARUTO - "Brothers" - Sasuke + Itachi, 20 pgs, G - Release: January '09?
• NARUTO - "弟" - Sai/Itachi + Madara/Sai, 24 pgs, NC-17 - Release: Someday in '09--?!
I'm not sure of when the books will be released.
I'm actually quite troubled with some issues with the Death Note's plot, but with some help (I'm bothering cute forchancookie, but if someone has some thoughts about the pairing, feel free to share your views in the comments ^_^;) I should get rid of it relatively quickly... Anyway, consider that I'd like to release all of them before spring '09, or when work will start turning unbearable.
I finally made up my mind on the prices. Patience will be sold at 4 euros (6 dollars) since he's 48 pages long (also if the quality sucks XD) and the other books at 2 euros (3 dollars).
POSTAL FEES OBVIOUSLY EXCLUDED.
--After LONG MINUTES of pondering over the Italian Post website I decided to go for the Registered Mail option.
It's not particularly fast (if you're abroad it'll take 1/2 weeks to arrive at destination) but it's also relatively cheap and this way the books are not going to get lost, meaning that you won't lose your money.
Here are the fees:
Send to Italy, Europe and USA: 5 euros (7 dollars)
Send to Australia: 7 euros (9 dollars)
Of course those prices apply to a certain amount of weight (max 250 gr), if you're going to order A BUNCH of books the postal fees could increase... Not very much, actually.
Here's the table with the prices (in euros) for the various weights, if you wanna get an idea.
Consider that Patience, which is 48 pages long, weights something around 70 gr...
Since I work and I hate going to the post office, I'm going to send you your stuff on WEDNESDAY only.

Then, I sketched the covers for the Naruto fanbooks. I know that the Sai's is going to give me troubles, but for now I'll try to ignore the fact.
If you're wondering where Death Note's cover is-- Well, it's going to be quite simple. I'm just thinking of an elegant layout for it --In other words I didn't it yet XD
The Sasuke+Itachi is going to be particularly nice-- It's going to be a parody of the original manga's front pages of the chapters. AH, I'M A GENIUS. *evil laughs*
--I used a reference for the Sai's. This guy. ...Pretty, uh? --I mean, the pose.
--I got your interest now? Well, let's go on with the stuff.
Those are MY storyboards. I usually don't do them but this time I wanna stay in the limit of 20 pages and plan the printing carefully, so I need to plan the story properly.
The first one is Death Note's. I sketched it in my car while waiting for mum to get done with the hairdresser. The empty parts mean PORN. The sixth ticket shows the end. But I'm not happy with the end I planned, so probably I'm going to change it.
The other is the SasuIta. I know how the story starts and how it ends. The middle is a mystery, but yesterday I got some nice ideas so I'll probably got it finished tomorrow... That's a cute worksafe story! It's about brotherly love and such <3
Oh, this time I'm not going to use fucking screentoning and dithering.
I hated it last time and the printed result sucked, so I'm not going to use it anymore. I'll stuck with the style I'm good at :/
Then, like I told you, I'm fighting with a thousand bunnies attacking me from all possible fronts-- And Sai is really doing his best to slap my face with his awesome sexiness every two seconds... SAI, I'M SUPPOSED TO HAVE A LIFE, YANNO D': !!?
So, let's talk about 弟 (Otouto).
I blame it on my 1x10 challenge on y!G: whoring Sai around so much got me way too inspired D:
The basic idea is: Sai is whoring himself out after his cousin (Shin)'s death; he lives with his uncle (Danzou), who's completely oblivious of his nephew activities (or maybe he isn't-- But he doesn't care X'D); his favourite clients are a lawyer (Itachi) he met on the intraweb and some Yazuka leader (Madara) he met in a night club; both the guys have a soft spot for him and a similar fetish: they made Sai roleplay as their (respective) little brother.
It's a very porny story about how Sai lives the guys perversions and the strange (requited) feelings he has for them...
--Sai looks like he's 8 years old here >_> Just miserable sketches >_< ! I'll make him look like a proper 18 years old boy, trust me XD
Anyway, the first outfit is the one that Itachi will make him wear during their encounter (obviously based on Shippuden!Sasuke's)... The other is his usual outfit. I got inspired by the style of Gau from Nabari no Ou XD
I don't think I'll show him in school uniform, but I wanted to sketch him like that anyway XD
I'm curious on how I'm going to depict the Itachi/Sai relationship. They're both quiet and introvert boys, so I don't see their interaction being quite explicit...
Itachi would be definitely a caring lover and person despite the detached appearance, though.
I got the idea of having Sai topping him on Itachi's request, 'cause we all know that Itachi wants to be topped by Sasuke XD
Madara/Sai's is going to be fun.
I wanna depict Madara as a gentle person but as a sick fucktard in the inside.
He's obviously going to be quite kind to Sai, inviting him for dinner and to sleep over. --I guess I'll have him kill some yakuza fucker while having sex to show his ruthless side.
I'm not sure if I'll keep Itachi and Madara's hair long.
I mean, in Naruto they're ninjas, but in this AU they are a lawyer and a yakuza... They wouldn't be very credible with those long hair :/ --What do you think?
