Shigurui vol.15 + Interview Meme ^^

So, yesterday while browsing helplessly, looking for intellectual (...) relief I stumbled over the RAWs for Shigurui vol.15, aka the last volume of one of my favouritest manga ever *_

I will probably buy vol 15 in April when I go, but I don't think I will read it as I hated the end, inevitable and disappointing as it was.

I like the way it ended, 'cause all in all Shigurui was about a society where living was completely impossible... Since I can't read Japanese I can't understand what's happening in the final chapter when Gennosuke is forced to behead Irako's corpse, but I can tell that it's something that really goes against his beliefs and feelings :/
I mean, it'a a tragedy, Yamaguchi also stated it on various interviews.

Also, I know the original end of the Nanjo's novel (at least what a Japanese friend told me about it)-- In the end Gennosuke didn't die but lose his other arm, the only survivor being Iku with the child she had with Irako ^_^; The books ends with Iku and the boy leaving the village a few years later...

I was never going to accept any ending but Irako winning as good. ;)

The novel has a much better ending. *^-^* I wish I could read it, but sadly, I reckon it's way beyond me - it's been hard enough work to struggle with the manga and that had it's consistantly extraordinary art to help a bit!

But I will buy it anyway, because it's been so incredible.

Awww. I always liked Gennosuke better x'D I kinda prefer the silent type who suceed after hard work, ahah x'D

Consider that the Shigurui story in the original novel is just a tiny chapter :D If it was available in any language that I may even vaguely understand I would definitely buy it ;_;

Ah, yes, YaoiCon. XD I've only ever attended like...twice, or maybe three times. I wish YuriCon was still alive. :/

It sucks when you have to work while everyone else is on vacation, but somebody has to do the job. :/

I'm guessing that you mean like *yaoi* series and not fandom~~~ well~ Sakura Card Captor did have and not so subtle yaoi pair XD
but it was Crimson Spell, I really liked it, it's a shame I have such short attention spam and I always forget to search for the newest chapter but I like the 'omg I can't help myself but to smex you' thing XD

Ahah, yes, I meant series and not fandom 'cause I noticed that to find an actual Yaoi series that creates some kind of attachment is difficult :D Fujoshi tends to be more fandom-oriented, slashing the (straight) boys XD
