CHANGE
As of 3:36 AM, I have officially finished CHANGE.

I started out liking CHANGE from episode 2.
(okay, so the hair took a while to grow on me.. and there wasn't much Abe Hiroshi and Kato Rosa in ep 1. LOL)
And as she said, it just gets better towards the end.
I just noticed now.. but I've always had a weakness for Kimura's smile.
It's so boyish.. yet it speaks volumes. LOL
I can understand when critics say, "His acting is the same in all his roles."
However, I just can't see it that way.. Call me delusional or whatever..
But IMO, it's his attention to little details that makes his acting very convincing.
Add to that his innate charisma.
He doesn't need exaggerated movements/actions to portray something deeper about his character role..
I think his subtlety in acting is what makes him special.
Not really spoilers.. but..
I can't believe that 22-minute speech didn't bore the hell outta me.
Was it really 22 minutes?
Kimura aside, if there were any "problems" with CHANGE,
it could be the cliche i-am-enlightened-by-Asakura-sensei's-actions-and-therefore-will-support-you-all-the-way moments.
hahaha.. the typical villain-turned-ally scenarios.
but ack. WTH, I love political dramas, and it's interesting to watch one that has a government different from mine.
It took awhile of getting used to, since I have very little BG on the parliament.
Imagining someone as appealing as Abe Hiroshi as the Presidential Spokesperson made me squeal like the fangurl I really am..
Are there any other Abe Hiroshi fans on my f-list? LOL

Just a thought, since is Ninoy Aquino Day.. (do we really call it that?).. err sometime this week~ Altho the holiday's been moved to monday. whatever..
Ninoy's death.. was it just a catalyst into setting-off EDSA I? or did it really kick-start the coup?
Did it merely hastened the already brewing revolution? or would EDSA not materialize without his dying?
And..
If he didn't die, would he have really overthrown the Marcos regime, and take over as President?
Or would the Marcos Dynasty have flourished up til now?
(Altho I highly doubt that it would be as efficient, as noone can really come close to the genius that is Ferdinand Marcos..)

I'm starting to think that I should have tags for individual actors.. not that it matters much.. but..
