Been doing the typical putter about trying to do this, that, and the other. One thing is for sure, start checking the heating now cuz it got COLD last night! Been awhile since I shivered under the quilt, and I'll be damned if I wanted to crawl out of my nice little warm cubby hole this morning. EEP! Yup, heat check before it really gets cold and stays.
Nothing else new so to speak, bills are coming due, so that needs to be taken care of. Grocery needs to be done again, just normal stuff. Then there's the last cutting of the grass, but when to do it. If I cut it now and we have a warm month I'll possibly have to cut it again 2 more times. But if I wait it looks like shit, well not really but grass 4 inches tall gets on my nerves. Roses need to be pruned back, but again not yet. I hope mother nature doesn't dick around like she did last year and I can get it all taken care of at once and not have to worry about it.
Mom wants me to come down again this coming month or next. I'm thinking October because that's when major color hits all the trees down there, and it'll be absolutely beautiful. Taint nothin like sitting outside wrapped up in your warm comfey housecoat, sippin hot coffee, and watching the color show :)
Been doing fairly well with quitting smoking, been 5 days now... the longest yet without a fall back. Hope I can continue to stick it out, but the cravings are ass kickers, YEESH!! Whoever invented cigarettes should have been shot for the idea, really.
Bout it I guess... Rams 2-1, can we go 3-1 this weekend against the Giants? Hope so. TA!
