Friday...
Well... saw Doc this morning, but there's nothing new to say since there was no bloodwork done last time. I see him again December 16th, and at that time I will have new T-cell and viral-load counts. I think he's more concerned with the bad lungs/heart stuff than he is about my HIV... which, all things considered, I seem to be holding my own on. He wants me to get another chest x-ray to see if we missed something... reason being is that I seem to easily fracture ribs and pull muscles. I told him it happens when I cough real hard and then sneeze really hard like 12 times in a row without a breath. Weird, but that's how it happens... I told him that I'd get it next month cuz that's when Target re-opens (YAY!!) and I'll be down there anyhow. Heh, get an x-ray and then go shopping ;P Oh and he gave me more samples of Spiriva, which I had run out of. My insurance doesn't pay for it, and there's no way I can afford in excess of $117 bucks a month. He gave me a prescription for Atrovent which is similar and which my insurance should cover. He said its not as good, but if it even works half as good I'll be happy. When I ran out of the Spiriva there was a marked difference in my breathing and energy levels... in otherwords, without it (or something nearly as strong) I feel like crap. We shall see I guess.
Much cooler today and its very welcome. The 90 degree days are overwith I hope... they fuck with me too hard, so I for one am glad to see them go. Although I'm not looking forward to winter, fall is always welcome :)
Still no book (Inversion) from Eric (planetconcrete). I have more to say about that, but not right now. And to think I actually used to admire him and his efforts at writing books and getting them published. All I can say now is Fuck You!... liar/thief/user... all apply...
New fall line-up starts tonight too, and am looking forward to the first ep of Threshold (sp?), then Surface on Monday I think. Dunno when Invasion starts, but that's another as is NCIS and a couple of others I want to see... Bout it I guess, TA!
PS... Cardinals are Central Division champs!!! Now if we can only go to the World Series again and erase that disaster of a series we had against Boston last year. Whatta sad mess that was...
PSS... Oh yeah, got my flu shot too, get it now if you can before our dear government uses the `we've run out and can't get anymore` excuse again. Pathetic asses...
