The Law & Order franchise just keeps on ticking. The mothership will launch its 18th Season in January 2008. Special Victims Unit is entering its ninth season. And Criminal Intent will be back for season seven - airing on the USA Network before getting a run on NBC.

I'm watching "Chuck" right this minute and they just linked to "Lost"! To see how much info was downloaded into Chuck Bartowski's mind, the CIA and NSA triggered him to spill some of those secrets - one of which was who shot down Oceanic Flight 815!

I think this makes five TV shows with a connection to Oceanic Airways - 'Lost', 'Alias', 'Diagnosis Murder', 'The War At Home', and now 'Chuck'.

Also, didn't you figure "Moonlight" in by the appearance of Hearst College? Veronica Mars is already in.

Two additions in the first two weeks of the new season! Woo-hoo!

Usually I have to watch shows the next morning as I work an overnight shift. So this was real-time and the adrenaline was rushing! I wasn't in a race to post, but I might have been earlier if I wasn't sending it in to TV columnist David Bianculli first for his Extras in-joke columns.

We've got two series this season which have characters working at the Register now - 'Journeyman' and 'Women's Murder Club'. As mentioned, add to these 'Sliders' and 'Star Trek: The Next Generation'.

Maybe it'll pop up on 'Monk' someday as well!
