got lots-a work ta-do
I'm going to Switzerland in a little over two weeks, and will be there for a little over two weeks. My grandma hadn't been home in six years, despite her siblings' failing health, because of her apprehension of traveling alone. I offered to go with her, hardly expecting that she'd be so excited that the idea went from just that to reality in two days. So, I'm mad-scrambling to get work squared away before we go.
It should be a fun trip. There's nothing quite like seeing my grandma at home in Lucerne -- she's downright giddy. I loved that she showed us where she grew up, told us stories about her family and was filled with an incredible amount of joy when we went with her years ago.
Miles and Jasmine will be holding down the fort here at home. I've never traveled without them, so it'll be a little odd being sans the "travel buddies." It just hasn't sunk in yet --
