Amazing how after the weekend I've had, -this- is the song that coaxes another few tears from me. I guess I was always a big marshmallow when it comes to emotional music. :~)
I don't have a long time here, I have to leave for work in ten minutes. I just didn't want to go without writing at least a little. It helps in its own way, I guess. Tigrekat, thanks for the phone call, I really needed it. I really enjoy talking to you. I'm really hoping I get to actually see you in person before next Anthrocon.
Let's see...not much else, I guess. I work another 8 hour shift today, but you know, I'm beginning to be more and more thankful for those days at work. It gives me something mundane and common to focus on, even if the feeling is often "oh bollocks, eight hours of work." I do have the trip to Six Flags coming at the end of the week, though, which I am very much looking forward to, then going with Whitetail for sushi on Sunday. It helps to have -something- to look forward to.
