(no subject)
At about 2:30 AM, we were on the couch watching a stupid movie, Date Movie. We heard tires screeching, a strange metallic scraping noise, and then the lights flickered & went out. I turned around to look out of our living room window, and saw showers of sparks raining down. The power lines were all drooping. I then saw two guys running down the street in front of our yard.
I threw on my shoes to go see if anyone needed help, or whatever, but the guys were gone. A police cruiser went down the road where the guys must have gone.
I headed back in the opposite direction, and this is what we saw leaning against a telephone pole 3 houses down:
The patrol car came back and had two young guys in the back seat wearing white t shirts.
Earlier, when we were driving the hearse home from the club, there were a few wannabe thugs hanging out at the apartment complex, waving their hands in the air. One of them ran out into the road like he was chasing us, or going to do something to the car, but he was too slow. I wonder if we escaped a carjacking attempt.
