yesterday i had a splendid evening walking through my very multi-cultural neighbourhood. i did some groceries at the Turk, than passed the Surinam-toko, wondered if i would eat Turkish, Thai, Mandarin or Surinam food and had Thai at the friendly Thai Restaurant. love it.
we have all these cute little toko's with nice people who sell cheap vegetables. how could you call that a bad thing? i say "salam" to the owner of that store, just like they said "gruB Gott" in Switzerland. i don't see the problem....
the only cultural problems are created by people like GW. Big racist bastards screwing it up for everyone. no one rebels when there is nothing to rebel against.
ah. i could go on and on about this, but let's just say i'm happy to live in oost. i love it!
