Woe Is Me
My wife is peeved with me ..... again! We were at a gathering this past weekend and I became quite mellow ..... from consuming an excessive (according to her) amount of brandy. Personally, I know for a fact that it is impossible to drink "too much" brandy. I know this because I have tried ..... many times.
Anyhoo. I suggested to the group that we should play "carnival". My wife got a panicked look on her face and started to move quickly to my side; hoping to nip this thing in the bud. Before she could clamp her hand over my mouth, however, some obliging soul in the group responded, "'Carnival'? I don't think that I know how to play 'carnival'." Quickly I answered, as my wife literally flew across the room, "It's where all of the women in the room take turns sitting on my face and I try to guess their weight!" Since my wife had been unsuccessful in shutting me up, she proceeded to box me repeatedly about the head instead.
P.S. Do any of you ladies know how to play "motor boat"???
