I'm baa-aack!! 8{

Instead of writing long, boring paragraphs about my trip to Sisters and Eugene, OR, I wrote a list of vital statistics that should tell you pretty much all you need to know.

Emily's Family Trip to Hippievilles: July 31 - August 4

Number of days dougnuts from Sisters Bakery were eaten for breakfast... and at lunch and dinner: 4
Number of "tastegoods" in such a breakfast: approx. 4000
Number of hikes taken: 2
Number of incessantly buzzing horseflies encountered while hiking: 1 (But it seemed like 50)
Number of CDs bought at the Best Buy: 4
Number of times I listened to The Used's self-titled album over a 5-day period: approx. 10
Number of stars you can see in the night sky at the cabin in Sisters: Countless. And you can see the Milky Way, too.
Number of shooting stars spotted: 2
Number of times I heard a pack of coyotes howling near the cabin: 1
Number of times I heard a barfing llama: Sadly, 0
Number of cantos read from Dante's Inferno: 1 (Disappointing)
Number of Kevin Spacey/Jeff Bridges movies watched: 1 (K-PAX)
Number of times asked by older relatives when I'm leaving for France/if I'm really excited about it: 5ish
Number of times I was actually excited to answer that question: 0
Number of realizations that I feel way more comfortable/have way more fun with my friends than I do with my family: Many
Number of times my (older) brother came into my room while I was listening to my iPod to lift one side of the headphones and burp into my ear: 1
Number of minutes my brother spent talking about how much he hated the movie Boondock Saints after I asked him if he'd seen it: approx. 6
Estimated percentage of awake time spent thinking about current crush: 20
Estimated percentage of awake time spent listening to music: 40
Number of frustrated journal entries written: 4.5
Number of hours spent traveling in the car: approx. 17
Number of times a dog threw up in the car: 2 (Once for each dog)

Aaaaaand that about sums it up.
