Leaving 2005,
Suddenly I look up and I see the words are getting closer,
as everyones older,
and we are now the only ones.
And now I look upon the world and see that every one is happy,
and smiling with the words so sappy,
and every one is clapping for all the daughters and the sons.
They're older now the children that were once so small,
now they're tall,
and growing so fast.
Out growing their teachers and their high school books,
and leaving to new schools based on their looks,
always cherishing the past.
And now leaving with so much knowledge,
to take off to a brand new college,
like the busy bees off to a brand new hive.
But I believe we leave with more then this,
That we leave with old friends whom we'll miss,
As we leave as artists, musicians, and all around best
of the class of two thousand and five.
