Band of Horses
The Band of Horses album Everything All The Time is good. It might be too tame for some -- like, I'm pretty sure Sussman wouldn't like it -- but that's cool by me. I'm in a mellow music mode, especially when I'm working at night, so Band of Horses is perfect: slightly country-tinged, cool harmonies and hooky melodies, like a good version of My Morning Jacket.
This picture makes me even happier because it confirms that their band name is not a fluke: they love all animals -- horses, dogs, freaking everything!
