Joy Division = Anti-Beard
I've been planning to write about Joy Division as the anti-beard aesthetic, and how you could trace punk's reaction to hippies by the absence of facial hair. You could never imagine Goose Gossage, relief baseball pitcher with an outrageously awesome mustache, playing in Joy Division, could you?
Well, it turns out that while looking at pictures of Joy Division, I came across this surprise:
