(no subject)
Today was a pretty nice day. I got to sleep in fairly late (11:00) and I lounged around until I went into Big-Y to get my mom some flowers for her birthday. At 3:30, I met up with a bunch of people from work and we all went to Foxwoods for the buffet and bingo. It was a pretty good time. The food was ridiculous and I thought I was going to explode. Nobody won anything at bingo, but I still want to go back with a group of friends because it's kind of exciting except for the fact that you play like 20 games of bingo and if you don't even remotely win one of them it kind of sucks. Steve and I snuck into the slot machine area and I got to play a slot. I felt like the man for like a minute.
When I came home, this girl Krissy showed me a video of us from the Tip the Van show and Mike sounds terrible. He's always out of tune and he can't solo for the life of him. This has been bothering me for like a year and a half, so I decided to make a valliant effort to make Chris really think about it. I called him up and showed him the two videos of the other night's show and I think it's almost time where the entire band talks about Mike's status in the band. I'm not excited so to say about the situation, but I think it's something that we should have dealt with a long time ago but since we're such an overall non-confrontational band, that this is something positive. I mean, I can understand if he tried to get better, but it's obvious that he doesn't play his instrument unless it's the day of practice or the day of a show. It's time for a change.
I have to work tomorrow morning at 7:00. I think I should be allowed to go in at like noon because my manager kept me out until 11:30 tonight. Good excuse, no? I'm not even really tired right now. Time to sit down and do some readin'.
