(no subject)
I just got back from the show. We played without Paige and Grant. It went really well though I thought. People seemed to like us which was awesome. I saw Tip the Van for the first time tonight and they blew me away. They remind me of Save Ferris (of course, what the hell else would they remind me of with two girl singers?). Their drummer has his stuff set up and sort of sounds like the Streetlight Manifesto. We talked to Steph after the show and she said she'd record for us on our cd. Oh yeah, by the way, Paige quit the band. In his words he didn't really quit, it was more of like taking a break and we're allowed to get a new trombonist and never take him back into the band, but he might come back if his life gets less hectic. I'm not sure what this will really turn out to be, but for now I think we're going to record and put out an album. I'm just hoping for some new horn players, that's all.
After the show, Chris showed me around his school which was pretty nice. His dorm room is rediculously small, I would probably die in there. His roomate was cool too.
Boy am I tired. Show with Big D tomorrow in Westport. Yay, more driving. Blech. Everyone ought to come to the show and bring a trombonist to try out for the band. That's all I ask. Goodnight
